Impressive win for Vaccine

It was an impressive return to the races for the half sister of our Deep field x A Brilliant Idea yearling today at Doomben. The 3yo filly, Vaccine proved way too strong in the opening race of the day when she won at her first race start in 68 weeks, after sustaining a series of mishaps following a promising start to her 2yo career when trained by the Waterhouse/Bott team. Now, under the guidance of leading Brisbane trainer Tony Gollan, Vaccine showed that the wait was worthwhile and she could go on to be a progressive horse in the future.

Deep Field x A Brilliant Idea Yearling

Vaccine brings her dam’s record to 4 horses to race for 4 winners. The 2yo by Star Witness is named Hallstatt and, although not produced as yet at the races or official trials, has shown quite a bit of ability at a recent jumpout at Morphettville. This is definitely the type of speed family to be involved in. Click HERE for more information
