Happy owners after Nicci’s Gold’s recent Warwick Farm win

Kicking off in early 2016, we at Gold Edge Syndications bought our first yearling at the Inglis Classic sale, where we paid just $25,000 for a lovely Nicconi filly. She was quickly syndicated to various people including a couple of small punters clubs. The new owners named the filly Nicci’s Gold and she went on to win 6 races, 4 at city level, and earn over $400,000 in prize money. Nicci ran 3rd in the Listed Winter Stakes at Rosehill, earning Black Type and increasing her residual value as a brood mare. Nicci’s Gold sold for $280,000 at the 2020 Magic Millions Broodmare Sale capping off a wonderful and profitable experience for her owners.

Zerchois, got off to a flying start, running in the first 2yo race of the season, the Gimcrack Stakes, where she led the field at the 200m mark only to tire late and finish outside of the placings. It didn’t take her long though, claiming her first win at just her 4th career start. She is currently in training with her new trainer Gayna Williams at Mudgee with a view to attacking the country racing circuit. At just her first start for Gayna, Zerchois was back in the winner’s circle, winning a Benchmark 58 race at Wellington.

One of our latest 2yos, Absolutely Foxy, has hit the ground running having now had three starts with prize money approaching 100k. Her close finishing fourth in the Inglis Millennium, at just her second start, provided her owners with the thrill of a lifetime and showed that there will be plenty of wins to come in her career.
